No age category prizes will be available.  All participants in the 9km will compete for first, second and third position respectively.

  • The Safety Officer and Event Organizer’s decision is final. They reserve the right to accept / reject any entry received.
  • Minimum age to compete: 9km – 14 years or older, 5km – 8 years or older (if younger they need to be accompanied by an adult).
  • Run Walk for Life Athlete medical insurance cover is available for all participants during this event.
  • Due to the nature of this event, club clothing is not required to be worn.
  • Only the event number will be worn on the front.
  • No seconding from cyclist or private vehicles will be allowed on route.
  • Spectators will not be allowed to follow the runners.
  • Marshalls will be on the route, please obey their instructions.
  • Refreshment tables shall be provided.
  • Littering and damaged to the environment will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
  • All containers and packaging must be carried out and only disposed of at the official support stations, littering boxes on the route or at the finish.
  • Immediate disqualification if a runner tamper with the route markings.
  • Qualified First Aider’s will be on duty with an Ambulance at the start / finish.
  • Ablution facilities are available at the start / finish, please keep it clean and tidy!

INDEMNITY / DISCLAIMER: By entering this event, I undertake to be bound by the rules and regulations of this event.

I warrant that I am in good health and aware of the risks and physical nature of this sporting event.  I hereby accept that I participate in the event entirely at my own risk and I release and discharge, to the fullest extent allowed in law, the organizers of the event, all sponsors, persons and organizations assisting in the staging of the event, provincial and national athletics bodies and all local authorities from any responsibility, liability or costs relating to any injury, loss or damage of whatever nature, however caused, arising directly or indirectly from my participation in the event including pre- and post-race activities.

I further agree and warrant that if at any time I believe conditions to be unsafe, I will immediately discontinue further participation in the activity.


MINOR RELEASE:  I, the minor’s parent and/or legal guardian, understand the nature of athletic activities and the minor’s experience and capabilities and believe the minor to be qualified, in good health and in proper physical conditions to participate in such activity and I enter into this Indemnity/Waiver on behalf of the minor.
